Is your baby wrapped correctly?

Your baby's safety and comfort is very important to us. We recommend checking the following things when carrying your baby in the Cot2tot Wrap.

Frog like position:

Baby is in a seated position with knees above their bottom like a frog. That way there is no pressure on the spine.

Spread the fabric:

The fabric should be spread out supporting the baby's entire back and shoulders. Always check that you have spread the fabric to the hollow of the baby's knees.

Is it tight enough?

To ensure your baby is wrapped tightly and correctly do this simple test. Support the baby with at least one hand and slowly lean forwards.

You know your baby is wrapped correctly when your baby does not move away from you when you lean forwards.

If baby pulls away from your body the wrap is too loose and must be tightened.

The wrap is too tight if you cannot get your hands inside to adjust your baby with ease.

Carry above hips:

Baby should be carried above hip height so that they are close enough to kiss (see T.I.C.K.S. guidelines for more information)
